Native garden design and construction can be carried out on residential, industrial, and common areas. Factors considered include:

• Soil types
• Amount of sunlight
• Endemic species
• Soil moisture

Rainforest gardens, flowering heathlands, and water features can be created according to specified requirements. Engedi has done work in areas such as the Central Coast at Umina Beach and Hardy's Bay, as well as on Sydney's Northen Beaches at Seaforth and Avalon Beach.

These gardens act as a refuge for native birds and animals, and provide a natural temperature control allowing warmth in Winter and shade in Summer to reduce the carbon footprint from air-conditioning.
